Care will need to be taken with 2wd vehicles on bush tracks
During my camping trips in days gone by it was always a Welcome Relief to call in at this spot.
On a hot summer's day you could cool down and wash off all that dust collected from the Braidwood road before hitting the tar and heading back to civilization.
Access is by DIRT TRACKS and is best suited to vehicles with some degree of ground clearance, eg Falcon Hilux or 4x4. Steady as you go is good advice for 2WD Vehicles attempting this as there are ruts, protruding rocks pot holes and overgrown sections to traverse, Definitely not for low tar roaders!
It is possible to drive from T4 to T5, however this section is 4x4 and has some erosion problems, better for the environment to walk from T4 to the cache.
T5 This area has all the DANGERS an unfenced unknown body of water can possess, unknown and varying depths, snags, ledges and submerged rocks. So please take care around the water, and keep any geokids under constant supervision.
GZ Is a short walk upstream then head into the rocks for the cache which is a regular sized plastic container with all the usual goodies placed inside a brown plastic bag.
A RETURN walk to the cache from
T1 Braidwood road turn off 3,200m
T4 The carpark 752m
Hope you enjoy this spot
