While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

Geocaches which have not been maintained or the owner has not responded will not be taken out of the archive

Geocache Description:

Tynset ligger i Østerdalen hvor riksvegene 3 og 30 møtes og deretter deler seg igjen. Riksveg 26 på Tolga gir forbindelse østover mot Sverige og Rv 3 har mot nord kontakt med E6 og Vestlandet.

Cachen er plassert langs Glomma hvor det sommerstid er gode muligheter for sportsfiske. Ved den foreslåtte parkeringsplassen er det også mulighet for rimelig overnatting sommer som vinter i sovepose svarende til årstiden. Stedet er utbygget av den lokale jeger- og fiskeforening og grunneierlagene for å legge til rette for sportsfiskere. Det er bekvemt tak over hodet og bålplass, men ved må dere ordne med selv. Det enkleste er å medbringe stormkjøkken og koke seg kaffe eller mat her.
Er du på gjennomfart er det også ett fint sted til å ta seg en blund.

Når du finner Cachen er det god utsikt til bålplassen. Cachen er en 1,8 l Curver med blå kant

English. - Tynset is located in Østerdalen where the highways 3 and 30 just are meeting and then go from each others again. The highway 26 in Tolga gives connection in east to Sweden and highway 3 has connections to E6 and the western part of the country.

The cache is placed along river Glomma, where you in summer have good possibilities for fishing. Near the proposed parkingplace there are possibilities for a cheap overnight stop, too. Choose only equipments for the season.
The place is made by the local hunt/fishing society and the owners. The place is covered by a roof and has a fireplace but no wood. Bring it yourself if you need. The easiest way is to bring a multi-fuel stowe and make coffee or meals here.

Are you travelling far, it’s a excellent place to take a nap, too.

When you find the cache you’ll have a good view to the fireplace. The cache is a 1,8 l blue-framed Curver.
