Worked to put this one out on the last day of the year and on my birthday.
Thanks for the idea to do more of a treasure map idea Bhungry!!! This is a different one, and we will see how it goes. You will need to go to different places in Lake View Cemetery in Jamestown, New York. The cords on top take you to the office and main entrance to the cemetery and close to most of the area that you need. These areas will give you the cords to the final cache which is on state / DOT type land about 2.5 miles away. For each step, you will have to rely on your brains and not the GPS (Until the end) N-AB CD.EFG---W-HIJ KL.MNO
Remember, there are no Cords until the end. And as always, PLEASE honor those that go before us in death as we go in life!
You must look for the statue of an Elk. Not hard, it is over 6ft tall. Once found, look to the left side as you look at the face. There you will find a rock next to a tree. "In memory of Jerome B. Fisher" will be on it. Look at the dates and fill in the blanks-1900-1GH1. The G and the H are what you are looking for.
When you are done with the rock and Elk, don't run to far, for across the road from them, on the hill is a very large stone that you need to look at. It is laying down, so you have to look down on it to read that it is a memorial for the pioneer settlers of Jamestown. D=How many letters are in Elijah ? Bishop's middle name? I=How many letters are in Amy's full name, as listed?
Look for the cript that looks like a small church with the steeple on top. (The only one like it in the cemetary) The name is Fenton. On the back are dates. Under the United States Representative, there are two dates...use the one on the right 18FE.
After leaving the Fenton cript, to the left as you are looking from the back, you will see the largest monument in the cemetary to Prendergast. On both sides there is one date. N88B
While standing in front of "The Lady in The Glass Case", look up into her face and you will be lined up with Sarah. Sept. 8, 18AM
Look For a large rock with a large Ammo shell on top of it. This is the area for the Spanich American War and the shell is from the USS Maine. The plack tells of this ship and what happened on Feb. K5, 18J8
As you are looking at the Memorial for the USS Maine, slightly ahead and to the left is a statue on top of a cript. Their backs are to you as you walk up. There is a name on it,Dascum Allen. How many dates ore on it? =the letter 'O'
This one, unlike the others in this collection, died in Iraq. You can see the helmet, M16, and boots from Route 60 (N. Main) Have a penny, leave a penny. Feb 29, 198L - Apr 29, 20C5
