Hyde Run Flood Control Project – Emily Bissell
In order to avert the threat of future flooding to neighboring communities, New Castle County funded this project under County Flood ordinance 04-176.
New Castle County, the Delaware General Assembly and DelDot developed and implemented a regional storm water management solution.
A 5.8 million gallon storm water management basin has been constructed at Emily P. Bissell Hospital on land donated by the state.
There is a Recycling Centers located on site, so bring your recyclables after you make the find!
*** Please note *** There are many Do Not Trespass signs posted around reservoir. Cache is not located beyond recycling center.
