This is TRAVELING CACHE 2. The cache is the small toy Mars SOJOURNER ROVER.
March 14, 2015 UPDATE: Due to changes in the guidelines, the "additional logging requirements" originally specified in the description were rendered no longer enforceable. No logs have been deleted for some time, but this description is now only optional.
Now, you MUST sign the logbook attached, in accordance with Geocaching.com guidelines. The following is the old description, but remember that you now are only required to sign the attached logbook. You now need to read the logs to find where the cache is located for sure, since cachers are not required to email me.
I hope you have also seen my first traveling cache. When the first traveler flew out of Atlanta, I felt like we lost a fun friend. Well Atlanta, here comes our home town hero, the "ATL SOJOURNER ROVER". I hope we can have fun with the cache here. One more important rule for this cache: THIS CACHE CANNOT LEAVE THE ATLANTA METRO AREA!!! It can go in the same cache more than once and I guess you could even move it more than once, too (heck, why not!). If you have a question about the traveling cache, email me!
PLEASE do not take the toy unless you intend to place it in a new cache and let me know where you put it. I can then update this page so it can be found again and moved on to the next cache. This cache MUST go back into a PHYSICAL Cache, not left at a virtual cache location. DO NOT put it in an obscure or difficult to reach location. Keep it near a Metro City location so it does not get stuck. See the map below. Let's see how far it goes!
This is a RARE toy, please do not keep it. I got these from eBay!
--RULES: The challenge is easy, but it carries responsibility:
1. Accept the challenge and grab the little toy cache.
2. You may log a find on this cache only if you have taken the ROVER out of a cache and plan to move it to a new physical cache. Virtual caches and event caches do not qualify. Multiple logs from events will be deleted.
3. You MUST note that you took it in the logs for the cache it was located in AND this cache page.
4. You MUST contact me via email with your plan for the next cache location you will move it to.
5. Email me IMMEDIATELY when you successfully re-hide it.
6. YOU MUST LOG THE NEW CACHE PAGE AND THIS PAGE.
Traveling caches are no longer allowed on the site, so enjoy this cache and please keep it moving.
