The last stage requires a round trip hike of at least a mile. The coordinates for the final are: N 40 59.ABC W 081 41.XYZ
Stage 1. The coordinates above will take you to a structure. A= the number of letters in the last word on the sign that is attached to the structure.
Stage 2. Follow the Pheasant Run Trail to N 40 59.948 W 081 40.457 and you will find a pond. C= the number of benches facing the pond along the trail.
Stage 3. Drive to the parking area at N 40 59.894 W 081 40.955. B=the number of handicapped parking spaces.
Stage 4. Drive to the parking area near N 40 59.480 W 081 41.138. A short walk will take you to the coordinates and an historic object. X= the number of benches plus the number of boulders in the area plus 5.
Stage 5. Stage 5. Drive to the parking area at N 40 59.624 W 081 41.228. There is a building near that location. Y= the number of letters on the sign on the west side of the building minus the number of hitching posts at the other side of the parking lot.
Stage 6. Drive to the parking area at N 40° 59.367' W 81° 41.560'. Z= number of targets in the first shooting area plus 3.
Final stage. Walk to the trailhead at N 40° 59.345' W 81° 41.530' and hike your way to the prize. A little CITO would go a long way towards a positive relationship with the parks department. Obey all park rules.
The park hours are 6am until 11pm. The Norton police make frequent patrols so don't be in the park when it's closed. You must sign the log to get credit for a find.
