5-Year old Aidan places his first cache!
Shortly after moving in to the area, we started to wonder what was
up with this odd brick structure just off the road. One day, we
decided to head over with the kids and find out.
Turns out that it's a little park setting with a surprisingly steep
ravine and shale stream/waterfall. Almost immediately, Aidan told
us he wanted to hide a cache here. We had to talk him out of
putting it halfway down the ravine, but he eventually settled on a
less treacherous location.
After he picked his location, we asked for a name. Let's just say
that most of what he said made little to no sense. At one point,
between some variation of "jungle cache" and "safari cache", the
word "jufari" came out and just
stuck. Of course, since it's a geocache, it's not a normal
"jufari" but a "Geojufari". Now you know!
Do not park on Montville Road! Please park on the nearby
side streets and walk over.
NO NIGHT CACHING! Cache during daylight hours only please.
