This site is the location of the SFA geology department's stratigraphy lab. The terrain is steep and the rock is crumbly.
The outcrop is hidden by trees along the highway. To find the location travel 7.8 miles North of the red flashing light in Mt. Enterprise. Be careful of traffic when pulling off the road. People are used to the geology students being in the area.
