Geocache Description:

The Tear-Drop Lakes, Milton Keynes. More information about the area and lakes can be found here:

http://www.theparkstrust.com/parks-trust/DisplayArticle.asp?ID=33113

I first discovered this area around a year ago. Who would have thought that it would now be my back yard at work – and what a nice place it is. It originally used to be the location of the Kiwi Gary Don’t Cry for me Milton Keynes Multicache, so it now seems fair to place a new hide here as that has been archived.

Everyday on my dinner time walk I see this object, but noticed a different view that one would normally get. I realised there was an obvious place for a magnetic micro here – so I cunningly devised one to fit the location.

Cache contains mini log book and pencil. There may be room for a geocoin if it is not too thick and not over wrapped.

Cache warnings:

  • There is deep water in the vicinity – it is called the tear drop lakes after all. Keep children close. When I was setting the cache some muggles were trying to get a dog out of the water – so be careful – don’t let it be you.
  • You do not need to open the box, or go inside it, or in any way interfere with the equipment to get at this cache. In fact – please do not open the big box, just look around the object and think where you would hide it. The warning should be obvious when you get there – it’s not dangerous but needs to be left unaltered for others to need it if they need it – You’ll know why.
  • There is a VERY strong magnet involved – keep it away from your credit cards and rail tickets!!!
  • Muggles can come from approximately 5 directions – two of which are hidden, and they may be riding bikes. Be careful not to be seen.

Access:
