Geocache Description:

This multi cache is located in the Christchurch Botanical Gardens.

The first WP will take you to an interesting feature gifted to the people of Christchurch 3 October 2006. Muggles are drawn to this feature from all directions for a closer look.

Information gathered from the feature and two plaques. One within 5m of this WP the other 10m will enable you to calculate where the cache is hidden.

This camphor tree was propagated from a tree which survived the atomic bombing of Nagasaki Japan in 1945. (plaque 2) (The plaque is hiding under a bushy tree 12m from the bell)
D = Day (sum of the digits)in Sep 2007 camphor tree was planted.
E = The number of letters in the first word of the camphor trees botanical name.
F = The number of letters in the councillor's name who planted the camphor tree.

The cache will be found near one of the entrances to the gardens. You will find a seat conveniently placed to sit and admire the view and write up the log. Watch out for muggles some may be looking your way. Families may have an advantage here.

The cache is a camo 500ml snaplock container. When hidden the contents included log book, stashnote, pencil, sharpener and a collection of swaps.
GPS signal in the gardens is a challenge. Signal may be weak at times but you shouldn't have to much difficulty finding the first WP or the cache. Please leave the cache covered.
