This cache is named for our oldest son's favorite hideout in the woods. The cache is not located in the exact spot, but you may pass it on the way there. This is a moderate, fun hike and you may be tempted to explore. Be careful though! My own curiousity of what I thought was a trail during cache placement ended up being a 2-hour bushwhacking birdwalk! If you stay on the trail, you will be fine. You may even want to break out the mountain bike for this one. Enjoy!
You will be looking for a cammo'd large plastic peanut butter jar. The original contents include: 2 Where’s George $ for FTF, Spiky lighted bracelet, batteries, CHP sunglass holder, CHP lanyard, CHP caribeener, jacks and ball, CITO containers, flower purse, various buttons, Christmas pencils, leaf and flower stones, Star, goecaching symbol, Little Mermaid compact, and CA Grown key fob.
