The evil Shadow Lord is plotting to invade Deltora and enslave its people. All that stands against him is the magic Belt of Deltora with its seven gems of great and mysterious power. When the gems are stolen and hidden in dark, terrible places throughout the kingdom, the Shadow Lord triumphs and Deltora is lost. In secrecy, with only a hand drawn map to guide them, our geocachers set out on a perilous quest. Determined to find the lost gems and rid their land of the tyrant, they struggle towards their first goal in the sinister Forests of Silence.
Beware the evil knight Gorl guardian of the secret location where the cache is hidden. Gorl is a fearsome knight, clad in the golden battle amour of the Jallis tribe. He guards the dark centre of Mid Wood in the Forests of Silence.
The cache contains a logbook, pencil, swaps and a card with a gem clue. Remember to record the details of the clue; you will need this information to solve the location of the final cache in the Deltora Quest. These caches have been placed with the assistance of seven and twelve year old boys. If you know a child in this age range you may find that they can be very helpful.
