Geocache Description:


This cache is in beautiful Cooter's Pond Park, off of Highway 31, in Autauga County. You can occasionally see a C-130 cargo plane take off from Maxwell AFB; very cool. Turn left at the tan wooden sign, then left again at a metal gate and go up a big hill and park. The trailhead is by a pavilion and is overgrown with kudzu in the summer months. The original, large container is gone and construction down by the creek has made the original site inaccessible, so I have put out a temporary replacement until the construction is finished. The cache is a small Ziploc container nestled between small 2 logs. Please note that the park closes at sundown.
