Debdale - Deepdale Traditional Cache
Royal Oak: As the owner has not responded to my previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it. It is not normal to unarchive a cache, which has been archived due to a lack of maintenance.
If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Set of caches in Debdale Park, Manchester leading onto Gorton Reservoirs.
It is set in 130 acres with many sporting facilities and a children's playground.
The reservoirs were built in 1826 and supplied water to the Manchester areas until 1963.
This circular walk starts in Debdale park and carries on along Kings Road with golf courses on either side and continues round the upper reservoir. The walk along the Kings Road is known locally as The Favourite Walk.
Please keep to the public footpath, do not go onto the golf course.
There are toilets in the park and there is a McDonald's next to the parking area. The paths here can be quite muddy in Winter. These caches are near deep water, beware especially with children.
Small plastic tub with some swaps and log book.
