Geocache Description:

The Miami Valley Adventure Summit
OUTDOOR SKILL ~ OUTDOOR CULTURE ~ OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE
The Miami Valley Adventure Summit is an event celebrating the
spirit of outdoor adventure by immersing the region into the vibrant lifestyle
and culture of human powered endeavors through inspiration, education, and experience.
There will be presentations and demonstrations both days.

In conjunction with this event, the Gem City Geocachers will be hosting a table to give new geocachers a Geo 101.
We need experienced cachers to discuss geocaching and lead group hunts.
This should be a fun and exciting couple of days!

If you are new to geocaching, come on out!
We will be available to answer your questions and get you on your way!
We'll answer questions like:
What is geocaching?
How did geocaching start?
What makes a geocache?
What is GPS and how do I use a handheld GPS unit?
How do I find a geocache?
How do I hide a geocache?

January 27, 2007
10am - 6pm
January 28, 2007
Noon - 5pm
3640 Col. Glenn Highway
Student Union, Wright State University

While we encourage everyone to come out to the expo, in order to log this event you must participate in the geocaching demonstration and find an event cache.
When you enter the main drive of campus, follow the Expo signs for parking and to make your way to the Student Union.

REVIEWER'S COMMENT: This event cache is for the table at the expo, not the Expo as a whole. The table is sponsored by geocachers for potential geocachers. It is not unlike many other event caches (example GCV580), and it meets the guidelines.
