Every year in March, The Los Angeles Mycological Society has a campout here at Falcon Group Camp. For several days we will go out and find edible mushrooms nearby. We take some home and sometimes we will prepare some awsome campfire grub that would make a gourmet chef proud. It was a little dry today but after some soaking rains there will be many things to find.
CAUTION!!!!! If you would like to learn how to identify and forage for mushrooms yourself, please seek out experts that will help and guide you. Do not eat anything that you don't know for sure. As little as a fingernail sized piece of the wrong mushroom can destroy your liver and some will even cause death. You can learn more at our website:

If people(muggles) are camping nearby please be stealthy. ALSO, please replace the cache as nearly exactly as you found it so other may have the same thrill of discovery.
