El Tour de Tucson is one of the country's premier
perimeter bicycling events and is a major charity fundraiser, with
over $25 million raised since the first El Tour was held in
1983.
During the 88th mile, the route continues south along the West
Frontage Road of Interstate 10 before turning west onto Avra Valley
Road.
