Geocache Description:

New Zealand's annual caching event is back.
I have listed this event early this year as it is nationally significant - we'd like to allow time for distant cachers to make their travel arrangements.

Just the same as last year - an Easter get together near Springs Junction (between ChCh, Nelson and the West Coast), to discuss and enjoy some geocaching. The cache co-ordinates are the same as the first co-ordinates for my "My Fault" multi cache.

April 7th 2007, 12:00 noon (lunch and socialising), 1:30pm (treasure hunt).
Note that it is Easter Saturday this year - a change from Good Friday last year.
This cache location has been chosen because it is central for anyone travelling the northern end of the South Island for the Easter weekend.
The main purpose is to catch up and swap geocaching stories, however, I've added in an Easter treasure hunt to keep things interesting. BYO picnic lunch.

This event will occur regardless of weather conditions - dress according to the conditions and take a spare set of clothes.
To participate in the treasure hunt (for easter eggs), you are required to set a treasure for someone else to find (using GPS co-ordinates) all treasures must be hidden before 1:00pm, with the co-ords written on a sheet of paper (a seperate sheet for each treasure).

At 1:30pm, we'll put all bits of paper with co-ordinates into a hat and cachers will draw a treasure for each participant to hunt. Please set a treasure for each member of your party (so that kids, adults, visitors all get a go). All treasures must be set in child friendly locations. They must also be within 2km of the co-ordinates for this cache.

Note that you don't have to participate in the easter treasure hunt to log this cache. It is Ok to just come along and socialise.
