Geocache Description:

The walk is almost precisely one mile round trip over ground, thus making it appropriate for most. However, permit is required for hiking the area. Pleasant views.

Series is nearing finality. The first to find this cache is charged with the obligation of bringing one step nearer to close. Transfer the contents to the new container and leave it at site. Take Brian Snat's Ammo can and hide it somewhere else. That will be #12 in the series and the first to find on that will have the honor to get it back to Brian Snat.

Instructions for the First to Find
The geocache is a BrianSnat's painted ammo can fully stocked. Go and actually pick up the ammo can. Drop a similar sized, stocked cache container in its place, swap out the log book. I will maintain the cache that you leave in its place. Then take the BrianSnat ammo can and place it somewhere else. Call the geocache listing "Find BrianSnat's Ammo Can #12" and add the same instructions. Congratulations - you are now a proud member of the Find BrianSnat's Ammo Can series of cache owners!
The objective of this series is to give people an opportunity for cache placement and to give a little nod to a great hider from Northern New Jersey.

For Permit Visit the Newark Conservation and Watershed Development Corporation Offices on Echo Lake Road West Milford, approx 1 mile north of intersection with Rt. 23. Please note, permits cost $8.00 of non residents and Office Hours vary by season, no Saturday hours in Winter. Visit Link for more detail.

Hider's note, I spent a lot of time looking around the area this morning and had consulted with Klizich and Ramsey and I do believe that this general area will be the next cache hot location. There are so many potential places I did not know where to start. This location affords pleasant views, but what was most impressive was the quiet. Diabetes Awareness TB courtesy of PTK, and a new unactivated TB in cache along with the usual.

Cache rated per Clayjar Rating system, which in this instance I thought rated this high. But one section of trail could be a problem in freezing weather.
