Geocache Description:

Part of a series to get a portion of the cords to the cache Vantage Point.

Parking is available within 100 or so feet of the cache. Five miles out gets in name
from the hill that the cache is on. Five Mile Hill is
said to have gotten it's name from fisherman in the 19th century.
It was used as a reference for navigation because you could see the hill from five miles out. That was one way the boats
knew where in the world they were. No gps back then I guess. The
park has a couple of benches to sit and take in the view of either
Lake Michigan or of Grand Haven. I've taken many pictures from this
spot so make sure to bring your camera to snap a photo from about
150 ft. up. The cache is a 6 oz. lock&lock so there is room for
small TB's or geocoins.

Don't forget to get the portion of the cords to Vantage Point.
