Geocache Description:

Located within the grounds of the Moses Gate Country Park, also known as Crompton Lodges, this 750 acre park is situated in the Croal Irwell Valley.

There are plenty of well maintained paths round the park but parts can become muddy near the river. The path to the cache is mostly on the level except for the final approach which can include steps and an uphill walk. I am sure tree cover will create challenges for you but the way is well marked.

Please note the park closes at dusk, check the times on the gate for access.
