Baseball Hall of Famer Willie Stargell played major league baseball for his entire 21-year career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, but he played his high school ball right here in Alameda, California at Encinal High School. The high school eventually named their baseball field for him, and has hosted many exciting years of baseball since Willie Stargell hit the big leagues in 1962.
A few notables of Willie’s career:
1) The only player to ever win the NLCS, World Series, and World Series MVP (co-winner) for a single year.
2) Hit 7 of the 16 balls ever hit completely out of Forbes Stadium in Pittsburgh.
3) Helped his team win 6 National League East titles, two National League pennants, and two World Series championships.

Part 1: To find the cache you must look up a few of Willie Stargell’s statistics. Cache is located at:

A = Total number of RBI’s Willie had in 1965 and 1966
B = Total number of hits Willie had in 1966 and 1974
Numbers do NOT include the post season! (thanks donvsop!)
Part 2: Cache is located where Willie probably hit a few balls, which is close to where he wanted to put them, but gave him another shot at a four-bagger.
Cache is a 3x5 container covered in black duct tape with a little room for small items or Travel Bugs. DO NOT take the red and white log as a trade item!!!
