Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in Pedernales Falls State Park and will require an access fee so this would be a great time to go ahead and get your parks pass. Click here for more information. A geocache permit has been filed for this cache.

Trammel crossing is the entry way to the 4 mile loop trail on the other side of the Pedernales river. It is a low spot and can be ridden over on your mountain bike and at times you can hop from rock to rock. Today when we crossed, we had to wade. It sure was cold! So be prepared to have some shallow water fun just before undertaking a pretty steep hike. Once you are at ground zero, you'll find a nice comfortable place to rest and find the cache! Enjoy beautiful Pedernales Falls!
