Geocache Description:

This is a Lookout Platform in memory of Bob Dodd who was an outstanding citizen and soldier of Toowoomba. It was designed and constructed by members of The Rotary Club of Toowoomba East and was officially opened on 15 Sept 1990.

It provides outstanding views of one of Toowoomba's prominent landmarks - Table Top Mountain (there's a hint for you) as well as the valley looking back towards Brisbane. While you're here why not enjoy some of the numerous walks in the area.

There are several ways to get to this cache. If you are short of time you can drive directly to the lookout but if you have more time take one of the Picnic Point (another clue) walks through natural bushland providing you with a unique experience in idyllic surrounds. Please note that if driving the access gates are locked between 8pm to 6am.

The cache is a small clip lock container suitable for very small trade items only. This cache has been replaced several times - please ensure it is carefully replaced after your find.
