I like to do different things so you never know what you're going to get at an event! After conversations with cachenkeri, we decided on a valentine's theme. The coordinates are for Trinity Lutheran Church parking lot. We will be downstairs on Feb 10, 2007 from 10-4 (optional dinner at nearby rest.)
There will be lots of contests for both young and old. We'll play HEART bingo, coloring contests, word ladders, math messages, word search, etc. There will be prizes and chocolate of course! Not sure how many temp caches at this point-enough to keep you busy after lunch.
Event starts at 10am, games start at 10:30. We'll have a pot luck lunch around noon so please bring a dish to share if you can. Pls post what you think you might bring. We'll return back to the church for cache prize drawings at 3:30pm. Quick clean-up at 4pm and off to dinner for those that would like. Housetrained, fairly well trained dogs are welcome-Zoie needs company. Facilities are handicapped accessible.
**1/23/06** update-Cachenkeri and I decided on 8 chocolate temp. caches around the Butler area. Each temp cache will earn you a ticket. Also, the winners of the games will earn tickets. The more tickets-the better as they'll be used for a chinese auction for prizes (again something different).
