Geocachers Meet and Greet
I've been noticing a LOT of new names in the
area, and thought it was about time to have another N. August Meet
and Greet. This is the halfway point for Aiken and Augusta Cachers.
So if you've recently picked up a GPS and found some Tupperware out
in the woods, or even if it's been awhile since you've been on a
Search, come out and meet up with fellow caching addicts in a nice
family environment.
We'll be meeting up at Fire Mountain Grill
(1275 Knox Avenue N.Augusta)
on Saturday January 27th at 6:00 PM. We have
one of the back two rooms reserved, please tell them you are
a Geocacher, a
15% gratuity is added on to each person's
ticket.
As usual Travel Bugs, Door prizes &
Raffle items will be accepted and we'll hold a raffle at the end of
Dinner. For folks who have never attended a Meet and Greet before
these are fun get-togethers where you can ask any and all
Geocaching questions you might have, share stories about your find
and just have a good ole time. This meeting will probably run 2
hours or more depending on the turn out. Hopefully we will have a
new cache available to search for after the meeting for anyone
interested.
Also if you are new to Geocaching, we are the
Aiken Region representatives for the South Carolina Geocachers
Association and we are available to help you. Just look for Jen or
Forrest! Many others at this meeting will be able to help you as
well! So come join us!
