Well Hopefully Summer has arrived! There has been a number of new cachers appear here in Ashburton and also a number in Christchurch, so this seemed the ideal time to arrange our teams first event cache.
This event will be held in the Ashburton Domain, Enter off SH1, main enterance. Event now 100m East of the "Troll". This event is being hosted by us to provide an opportunity for the new cachers around to meet each other as well hopefully so more experienced cachers from around the country side, Put a face to the name if you like. Procedings will start around 1pm and conclude around 5pm. Apart from the usual socialising I will set up a small multi cache in the area and of course will include a prize.
BYO afternoon tea (I will supply hot water for a cuppa), there are plenty of picnic tables here, BBQ and toilets. For those of you who have visited our "Troll" cache nearby you will know there is plenty of activities for the younger cachers as well. If Summer decides it won't be present on the day the event will still take place but I will advise of an alternative location. Hope to see many of you here :)
