Park where you can near Kotor old town. Your quest begins at the Škurda Bridge refuge at N42 25.588, E018 46.330. Then take the ancient mule route that begins next to the water pumping station. This is the famed “Ladder of Cattaro” which once was the only way from Kotor to the interior of Montenegro. The cache is near the site of the earliest discovery of human habitation in the Bay of Kotor. (Illyrian Iron and Bronze Age relics). After you discover the cache, return via the rampart window at N42 25.401,E018 46.495 for a fantastic view and the opportunity to visit St Ivan’s fortress. Because this location is very often explored by passers by, please ensure that the cache is very well hidden after you find it. Thanks.
