Geocache Description:

The Settlement of Orem, Utah was built on the Provo Terrace of ancient Lake Bonneville a few miles north of Provo. Walter C. Orem was president of the Salt Lake and Utah Electric Interurban Railroad that ran through Orem and he contributed substantially to the development of the city of Orem. His name was given to the city in 1919.
