I was out caching the other day and I stumbled upon a great big ol' spider. It looked like she was just setting up home as there were some really old parts of a web there but no new silk. I thought that was pretty interesting and as I happened to have some colored pencils on me I decided to sketch the old web with a Blue pencil and come back tomorrow to see what had changed.
Sure enough, the next day when I showed up there was a whole web with a bunch of new strands and there was that big ol' spider sitting in the middle waiting for her first snack. I also noticed there was what looked like an old catch in the old web that had been there for some time. I sketched the new web in Green pencil and decided I should tell the spider what I was up to. This isn't at all that strange since I like talking to creatures even if they don't talk back. The funny thing is, this spider seemed to be listening and taking an interest in what I was telling her of my recent caching adventures.
Well, I couldn't sleep all night because I was worried about my new spider friend and the fact that she didn't seem to have any food even after a couple days in her new web. So, I decided to go back one more time and catch a fly to stick in her web.
When I got there the following morning, I was in shock! There, in fresh new silk, were the words "Some Cache". Well, I just couldn't believe my eyes and I thought I should share my drawing with everyone so you can go see it for yourself. I took out my Red pencil and sketched the words that she'd spun on the web.
Afterwards, I caught a fly and tossed it in there for my amazing spider friend to snack on. When you show up there, please look for the fly I placed in the web to make sure my spider friend is getting enough to eat.
UPDATE: 11.11.25. Amazing how nature changes in a couple quick decades. The original host was just a sapling when this cache was first published and is longer the secluded space it once was. So, a slight change of location was in order. Puzzle updated accordingly.
