Geocache Description:

Great view of a 'stand in' Lady Liberty.

Impressive in the daylight; more impressive in the Evening. A great vicarious visit to Lady Liberty. This "Stand In" in no way approaches the dimensions of the Real Thing (300 feet tall!) but is a great place to take the kids to see something that you would have to travel to New York to see otherwise. Also, at the actual Cache location it is probably one of the few places you can see a representative of New York (Lady Liberty) and one of Southern California (Hollywood -- as in ___________ Video!!) in the same view!!

Be careful; the 'stairs to nowhere' can be slippery when wet or icy during inclement weather!

Also, since America is the 'melting pot of cultures', see if you can spot the name "MIKANIKMYK" (nation of origin?) in the area.
