Geocache Description:

Near the Lake Jessup Tower

This is an absolutely wonderful hike in a primordial forest on the edge of Lake Jessup. There is one other interesting cache from Clan Riffster in the area. While you are out this way be sure to go up in the Tower to get a nice view of Lake Jessup. On the return trip take the white blazed trail south from the tower - it has a couple of spots where it gets hard to follow - but is a really cool trail (I also like to bike it). There will soon be some more caches along this trail and in some other places out here.

As far as parking - I usually run or bike here from my house, but you can park on the road at the entrance to the Wilderness area as the gate is typically locked but there is plenty of room to park. This area also has a nice primitive camping area that is worth checking out. (Just past the kiosk on the right). If someone gets some good pics then I'll put them as part of this description.
