Geocache Description:

Park on the side of the road, near the driveway by this tank. Should be accessible to about 1' of snow. Almost wheelchair accessible, except for the last couple feet.

This tank is owned by Jim G. ... it's on his land and he has given permission for the cache and you to be here.

I just had to hide a cache here, because it's not very often you come across an old tank in the country, you usually find them in a more honoring sort of place, for lack of better terms. I think it's ironic to hide a cache in a tank that has a color that would never be considered camouflaged ... not sure why they would make a tank this color, but the owner believes that it is the original color that it was issued as.

The owner just asks that you don't climb around on the tank or sit in the driver's seat, no matter how tempting it is to do.

Save the hint in case you spend too much time looking for this plastic storage container, as it might be tough to find.

Update July 2007: There are two of them there now, Jim actually managed to come across another one, they're right next to each, so you'll have to figure out which one has the cache.
