A drive-up urban micro. Bring your own writing stick, and maybe tweezers!
This is our favorite bird-watching spot in the valley. Eagles and Falcons leave and arrive almost every day, and, if you’re lucky, you may catch sight of a Raptor or a Nighthawk. Every few months, birds from all over the world fly in to visit with the “locals”.
This area has a long history of abundant wildlife. Warthogs also currently live here, and Aardvarks were known to have lived here in the past, but now only reside in other parts of the world. A Buffalo even flew over the other day! People who believe in the supernatural, claim to have seen Spirits and Phantoms in the area. If anyone has seen any other types of wildlife, list them in your log. Bring binoculars (and earplugs!) and enjoy the show!
As you watch these birds come and go, remember the brave men and women honing their skills here may soon find themselves in harms way. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
