Geocache Description:


This is the general area the Lost Patrol of January 6th, 2006, were aiming to arrive from their ill-fated hike through McGinty Peak. They shall remain nameless until such time they wish to reveal themselves, or you can just look and see who was in the area on January 6th!

They kinda took the wrong trail and ended up at a nearby golf course. Due to an injury to one of the hikers, two got a ride to the club house in a golf cart.

To get to McGinty Peak from here, park near the next street which is Farraday Ridge Dr; it is gated but is public accessible on foot or bicycle. Go to the end of that street and take the dirt road at the end which starts at N32 44.643 W116 53.326.
