Geocache Description:


These falls are a real suprise. The walk in is just under 4 miles on old fire roads. Park at N38 45.120 W122 17.017. Cross the road and go over the green gate. These are public lands and are not posted. Follow the obvious road. You will have 9 stream crossings so be prepared to either hop from rock to rock or get your feet wet. The road can be muddy if there has been much rain.
At N38 46.719 W122 18.878 is a Y where you should stay right. At N38 46.712 W122 18.767 you will reach another Y where you should go left. These are the only hints you get. Please be very careful of your footing when you approach the cache location. There is a trail of sorts to get to the actual cache site but it is on steep ground and slippery. This is a nice walk through a very beautiful valley. It can be hot in the summer so please bring plenty of water. I have seen bear tracks in the mud as well as fresh bear scat. Plenty of coyote tracks and scat as well. This is a great area for viewing wildlife. Enjoy your walk and please be safe and careful.
