A relatively easy find in the Hessle Common area near Ackworth. The terrain is easy for walking and child friendly but unsuitable for pushchair or wheelchair access. A parking lay-by is available at N53 38.686 W1 21.713 on the main A638.
The cache is a camouflaged plastic container 5inch square and 2.5 inches deep, so don’t take anything too big. When left it contained, a bottle stopper, a smurf toy, a glow-in-the-dark star, a crocodile key ring, a bottle opener key ring and a purple string bracelet, along with a logbook, pencil and sharpener.
