This cache is along one of Reston's many public trails. It is not paved, but it is an easy walk. The cache is hidden a short distance off the trail, bushwacking is not required.
The cache is very easy to get to, but a little harder to find. It is well camouflaged but within easy access. It is hidden from the road and the nearby condominiums. The container is about 7 inches high and 5 inches across.
The original contents include several Tiki related items 2 crisp dollar bills for the FTF.
You can PARK on Northshore, near the intersection of Northshore and Whielie. The path starts near the pedestrian bridge. There is a paved path near the road, and a dirt trail through the woods, you want the dirt trail.
When I placed the cache I was getting a 10 foot WAAS signal, so the co-ords should be pretty close!
THERE IS NO NEED TO CROSS OUT OF THE WOODS INTO THE AREA BEHIND THE CONDOS. THE CACHE IS VERY NEAR THE TRAIL. NO NEED TO DRAW EXTRA ATTENTION.
