Geocache Description:

This is a small container, no room for the big bugs, maybe a coin or two and smaller items.

Okay so as many of you know I screwed up. The whole min.sec vs min.dec thing. The long and short of it is that I was attempting to place a Cache in the upper 37 block of the Delorme Gazetteer and ended up placing a roadside in the lower 37 (actually that means I placed 2 in the lower 37 so if you need it, they are DJ is his name O’ and Can’t Forget CAL). Well DJ was nice enough to let me know as soon as he figured it out. His email was as nice as could be and allowed me to correct the error before we felt that we were all done and come to find out we still needed the most out of the way corner of VT. I felt that this cache name is kind of funny as DJ told Penni that if someone were “ambitious” they could get all 37 maps in about 12 hours. So here you go one cache for the Delorme Challenge or as we now call it “DJ’s 12 hour cache and dash”. We have played hooky from work, neglected our children (they didn’t seem to mind as they both went to friends houses during our insane Delorme weekend) and spent well over the allotted 12 hours. Heck I think Penni has more then 12 hours just in prep work. But anyways the challenge is great and we wanted to make sure there was at least one doable cache in the upper 37. So we placed this one DEAD CENTER of the upper 37 map (or pretty darn close to it) and I am certain I did not screw this up. By the way it is surely on the VT side of the river.
It was when we decided that it needed to be further north that we discovered the Columbia Covered Bridge was in this area. This is the bridge that I used a photo of to draw the pattern for the Covered Bridge wall hanging that Penni Quilts.

It is also fitting that when we placed our first Cache it was on/near a covered bridge and that we gave the before mentioned wall hanging as a first to find prize. Guess who got it ---DJ--- so here is a chance for another. We will be giving away a second wall hanging for FTF on this one (may be slightly different from picture as each is a one of a kind). DJ and CAL have adopted this cache, and Special Thanks to MikeOtt for maintaining/replacing it for us.
