mehu: Arkistoon tämä kätkö. Huoltomatka urbaanillemikropurkille on nykyään muuton jälkeen hieman liian pitkä. Aikoinaan kun tein tämän kätkön asuin viereisessä talossa ja loppupisteelle oli matkaa noin 30metriä. Kiitoksia kaikille kävijöille.

Nopea multikätkö Hyvinkään Parantolanpuistossa /// Quick Multi-cache in Hyvinkää's Sanatoriumpark.

Suomeksi Parantolan historiaa:

Pääasiassa helsinkiläisten lääkärien perustama Hyvinkään sanatoorio sittemmin Hyvinkään parantola aloitti toimintansa kahdessa arkkitehti Magnus Schjerfbeckin suunnittelemassa puisessa päärakennuksessa ja Karl Hård af Segerstadin suunnittelemassa kylpylärakennuksessa.

Arkkitehti Lars Sonck suunnitteli parantolalle jugendlinnan uudeksi päärakennukseksi vuonna 1906. Vuosina 1914 ja 1917 kivistä päärakennusta laajennettiin Sonckin suunnitelmien mukaan.

Parantolan kaksitornisesta kivilinnasta tuhoutui yli puolet talvisodan pommituksissa. Samalla päättyi laitoksen toiminta, joka oli tuonut hohtoa ja salaperäisyyttä teollisuusyhdyskunnan arkeen.

Parantolanpuisto oli vuodesta 1896 Parantolan asiakkaiden yksityistä ulkoilualuetta, jossa he tekivät kävelyretkiä männynraikkaassa 'vuoristoilmassa'. 1960-luvun kaupunkisuunnittelussa puistojen tehtävänä oli tuoda kappale luontoa urbanisoituvaan elämänpiiriin. Puistossa toimii päiväkoti Päiväpirtti parantolan alilääkärin asuin- ja vastaanottorakennuksessa, jonka Sonck suunnitteli vuonna 1917.

YY = 75 + XX
ZZ = 63 + XX

Kätkö on magneettinen filmipurkki pienen kävelymatkan päässä Parantolanpuistossa. Löydettävissä myös talvella ja pyörätuolista käsin.


English Sanatorium's history:

The air quality of Hyvinkää was considered healthy due to dense pine forests, and in the 1880s a group of physicians from Helsinki opened a sanatorium for patients seeking rest and recuperation.

Art Nouveau styled main building was designed by architect Lars Sonck in 1906. In years 1914 and 1917 stone castle was enlarged in accordance with Sonck's plans.

Over half of this two towered stone castle destroyed during winter war bombardment (1939-1940). Same time activity in sanatorium ended.

Sanatoriumpark was Sanatoriums private park for visitors from year 1896 where they made walking trips in refreshing 'mountain air'. There's infant school Päiväpirtti in park witch is designed also Lars Sonck in 1917. Building was formerly doctors private house and reception building.

Cache is located to N60°38.0YY E024°51.4ZZ. You will get missing coordinates when you add those numbers from these anothers.
