This cache is located at the Odell Weeks Community Center. It is not far from the parking lot, however, bumpy grass would make it a bit of a challenge for a wheelchair. This is a high muggle area. The cache that was previously placed at this site has been archived.
Odell Weeks is one of the major recreation centers in the town. The park features a disc golf course, playground, mile walking track, skating park, tennis courts, soccer fields, picnic areas, along with inside facilities.
After 37 years of teaching, I will be retiring this spring. I started learning about geocaching at a teaching convention. I thought this would be a good cache honoring the sport with my impending retirement. I have and will be teaching geocaching classes at the center.
This cache is a log only cache. Bring your own instrument as none is provided. No need to open anything or move anything to find this one.
This cache site has been approved by the Aiken Recreation and Parks Department.
