Geocache Description:


This cache will bring you to Blue Jay Point County Park nestled along Falls Lake.

This is a great park for families as it has lots of well maintained activity areas that include nature trails, nature lodge, ball fields, play grounds, picnic areas and even rest rooms. So come enjoy the park while you cache!

As you drive into the park keep to the left and park in either of the first two parking areas.
This cache can be accessed from either the Falls Lake Trail (part of the NC Mountains-to-Sea Trails) or the Sparkleberry Loop Trail. Cache is located off the trail a bit so some bushwhacking will be required.

There are several other caches in and around the park so enjoy them all !!
