Come visit beautiful downtown Wauconda! Well, not really. This is
not in downtown, nor is it particularly beautiful, but it does have
the advantage of being easy to reach. A few years ago, this would
have been a good place to be if you wanted to buy groceries or shop
for hardware, but now your choices are limited to filling a
prescription, getting a cheap haircut, or (my favorite) ruminating
on the ephemeral nature of apparently thriving businesses in the
ruthless free market. Parking is abundant, muggle traffic is
present but minimal. A little stealth may be required. Cache
contains log and pencil only, no room for trade items.
