Near pleasant swimming hole on Ashley River approx 6km from Rangiora.
Environment Canterbury have constructed a series of Groynes and tree plantings along this section of the Ashley River to create several pleasant picnic areas and swimming holes.
This Cache is at No.4 Groyne, which is easily accesed off the main stopbank, both Dalziels and Mertons Roads take you to within a few hundred metres of the cache.
The cache is a 1 liter clear container.When placed it contained log book plus pencil,sticker, compass, batteries and a traveller.
Keep small kids close, deep swimming hole nearby.
