Geocache Description:

Jednoducha cache se nachazi v Ceske Sibiri, ktera je znama chladnym klimatem ve Stredoceske (Benesovske) pahorkatine na nejvyssim vrchu Mezivrata (713 m n.m.). Na vrcholu stoji zdena geodeticka mericka vez a retranslacni stanice.

Cache is in Czech Siberian on the hill Mezivrata (713 m n.m.) nearby geodetic tower and relay station.

15. srpna roku 1919, kdy jel po naší silnici Osvoboditel vlasti, milácek národa, první president ceskoslovenské republiky, Dr. Tomáš G. Masaryk! Tehdy vystoupil starický president na rozhlednu mezivratskou, aby spatril kus krajiny. U rozhledny nechal se i s celou spolecnosti od p. Aichelburka z Neustupova fotografovati. Od rozhledny ubíral se p. president pres Oldrichovec k Buchovu, kde byl hostem ve vile p. rady Bukovanského. Na památku, že tudy krácel Ten, jenž prinesl nám zlatou svobodu, nazval p. Dr. Herben pešinu, vedoucí od jeho domu k sousednímu lesu, „stezkou Masarykovou."

In August 15th 1919 the first President of the Czechoslovak Republic Dr. Tomas Garrique Masaryk visited former view-tower.
