Purkki on viety paikoilleen koskilautalla laskien matalan veden aikaan. Paikalle pääsee kuulemma myös (hyvien olosuhteiden salliessa) kahlaamalla. Kätköpaikkana on saari, mutta korkean veden aikaan koko saari peittyy veteen puiden latvuksia lukuunottamatta.
Älä urheile tämän kätkön kanssa, vaan tutkaile salliiko vuodenaika purkin hakemisen kahlaamalla, koskilautalla laskien vai jätätkö kokonaan hakematta. Etenkään talvella ei ole mitään syytä luottaa jäiden kantavuuteen, sillä voimakkaan virran kohdalla joki ei jäädy koskaan, vaikka päälle satava lumipeite voi antaa olettaa niin.

The cahce has been placed with a raft. It may be possible to walk to the island if the water levels are low. When there is high water the whole island will get submerged.
Do not try to be brave with this cache, take in consideration that is the water levels low enough for wading, would it be better to take a river raft? In the winter time the ice will not be thick, maybe there is no ice at all, just snow packed over the water, and it might just look frozen. Be safe!
