Family_eats.gif - (12K)

DATE This meet is at the "Rose and Crown" pub on Sunday FEBRUARY 25th.

PUBThe pub has excellent food, with vegetarian choices, children's portions and plenty of real ales we thought that  all in all it is an excellent place to meet up with some of the people whose names you might have seen in the log-books!  Carvery meals are served from 12 till 3 - if you want to book a table then the telephone number is 0115 989 2245. The normal menu is then available from 3pm onwards. We strongly recommend that you do book a table see details below.

CACHES There are plenty of caches nearby in fact there are 40 caches of different types within a five mile radius of the pub to keep you busy either before of after the event.

There will be at least 20 caches released at the event too!

QUIZ There will be a free to enter quiz - giving answers to enable you to find 'Phoebe's Song' a new cache close to the pub.

There are also some other new caches hidden for the day - 'Spring is in the Air', and a multi called 'Cotgrave Cachabout', 'Glory Days' a series of 5 caches in West Bridgford (3.5 miles away), 'St Margaret's', 'Owthorpe Hill'. 'Which Way', 'Gravity Unit 2' and 'Cache Crop' to name just twelve!

DETAILS The organisers have booked themselves a table in the non-smoking area at 12 noon so come and say hello, collect your badges, quiz sheets, geocaching freebies and drop off your Travel Bugs, geocoins or Jeeps! (of any colour!) This is a very busy pub, so those cachers wishing to eat will need to ring the pub on 0115 989 2245 and book themselves a table, as they cannot guarantee that there will be tables free on the day.

We look forward to meeting you!
