Being the hiking type we are, we’re hiking the Main Trail at
Patoka Lake.
There are only Three cache’s on this 7 1/2 mile hike, there will
be no big number of cache’s on this hike just a great day in the
woods hiking one of Indiana’s beautiful trails, there is always the
chance of seeing a Bald Eagle on this trail.
So bring a lunch plenty of water and your camera , and become
one of the few that has found these old cache’s.
When-- The hike will take place on Saturday February 3rd and it
will start at 9:30am Eastern Time
Where-- At the Visitor Center at the Patoka Lake Newton-Stewart
Recreation Area, just north of Indiana 164.
There is camping here year round for any one that may like to
camp.
Hiking boots and a hiking staff is recommended along with plenty
of water.
