Geocache Description:

Cache is a little waterproof box hidden in a fake rock cover, under a large boulder near the 4th step of the waterfalls.

14.03.2023 Finally I managed to return to my old favorite place for maintenance (and fun). Big thanks to everyone who helped keep this cache running. I collected both caches (the box at the original place marked by the coordinates and a canister a few meters off) because they were open and soaking wet. Please be careful and seal the brand new box carefully to avoid damage. Sorry I left only basic content this time. Original text (13.01.2007): I alwasy wanted to place a cache to this place but I had no opportunity to go closer until now. It is a good idea to have a look at the place and take some nice photos from the whole area here first: S 20/20.3980 E 57/28.1426 You may try to find the cache alone but I highly recommend you to hire a local guide to lead you through the waterfalls, as the path is not always obvious or you have to climb trees to get to a lower platform. The locals know many little secrets not to get lost, wet or hurt. They are worth the price you agree upon. I can offer you Mr. Goind Govindranath Tannoo's help (+230 792-6101) for instance. Recommended way is from the top, going down. If you have passed the trickiest part of the path (with the tree) you should go up a bit on the right side of the valley. After a fallen tree you will find a huge rock. The canister is under that rock. It contains a waterproof pen (which you will need if you want to register in the logbook), a film canister - giving extra protection for the logbook, and some little toys for the kids.
