Park in the lot, a very short walk
Wetland: A marsh, swamp, or other area of land where the soil near the surface is saturated or covered with water, especially one that forms a habitat for wildlife
This is a great spot early in the morning or late in the day to watch egrets and other wading birds. Do not disturb Mother Nature just watch, photograph, cache and enjoy.
Close by is the Fishing Hall of Fame this is a great place for kids to learn about the environmental needs of wetlands and how to protect them. Lots of fun for the family
